Isocrete product set to revolutionise soft flooring industry

Isocrete Floor Screeds has launched a new product designed to reduce labour times for the soft flooring industry by combining two systems into one.

Isosmooth DPM is a new damp proof membrane system designed to protect finishes against construction moisture in the substrate and also to level the floor prior to immediate installation of floor finishes.

It offers the combined qualities and performance of a damp proof membrane with a self-smoothing underlayment.

The product can be installed onto substrates with a relative humidity up to 95%, avoiding the need for contractors to wait for the screed or concrete to completely dry out. 

As a result, Isosmooth DPM speeds up installation times and reduces labour costs.

Sales director Alan Dean said: “Instead of installing a liquid damp proof membrane and then a self-levelling underlayment, contractors can now just use Isosmooth DPM. We think it will revolutionise the soft flooring industry.”
