Morgan Sindall reaches close on Doncaster LIFT

Morgan Sindall, as part of the Community Solutions for Primary Care (CSPC) joint venture with Apollo Medical Partners and Barclays European Infrastructure Fund, has reacged financial close on the Doncaster NHS LIFT project.

Morgan Sindall's construction business, Bluestone, has signed a framework agreement and will design and build new health and social care premises across Doncaster. Construction on the first wave of three buildings in Thorne, Denaby and Sandringham Road us due to start in October, the first of which is expected to open in autumn 2006.

The value of the construction works is expected to amount to £50m over the initial five-year period.

CSPC has already secured LIFT schemes in Barnsley, south-east Hampshire and Camden and Islington.
