A McAlpine scoops public sector contracts worth £35m


Alfred McAlpine has been awarded two public sector contracts worth a total of £35m.

The contractor will maintain the entire property portfolio of the Scottish Court Service which includes 52 high courts under a five-year deal worth £23.3m.

And it will also build a leisure centre in Lewisham for a PFI consortium comprising Leisure Connections and Linteum. Work on the contract, which is worth £12.7m, is due to be completed by March 2007.
