Lifting Equipment Engineers relocates HQ to Huntingdon
The Lifting Equipment Engineers' Association (LEEA) has moved into a new head office in Huntingdon, which will also house its first training centre.
While LEEA's correspondence courses were popular, its chief executive Darrick Bates said there was a need for them to be complemented with practical training.
The move will help combat the shortage of competent people able to carry out the periodic examinations of lifting equipment as specified under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations.
The new contact number for LEEA is 01480 432801 and the website remains www.leea.co.uk.
