Seven on the shortlist for MK marina

Seven groups have been shortlisted for the development of the Milton Keynes marina.
The shortlist is:Alfred McAlpine Capital Projects with Ramada Hotels; Berkeley Group and Frontier Estates; Bouwfonds Property Development.; George Wimpey and Parkridge Developments; Grainger Trust; ING Real Estate; The Burrell Company; Persimmon; and Hampton Brook.
The mixed-use scheme includes a 50- to 100-berth marina, a four-star hotel, apartments, offices and retail space. The site is adjacent to the Grand Union Canal.
The shortlisted groups have 10 weeks to submit designs.
