Norwest Holst Construction has been awarded a £6m fast-track contract to design and build a new cargo warehouse with offices for Servisair Cargo at Heathrow Airport.
The contract awarded by BAA Lynton, on behalf of the Airport Property Partnership, the specialist airport property joint venture between BAA plc and Morley Fund Management, will see the construction of a 7,970m2 development situated next to a similar unit completed by Norwest Holst last year.
The new facility will offer airlines an unrivalled range of facilities including a private landside entrance, individual customer reception points as well as direct airside access.
Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2006.
