The Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) has signed a memorandum of agreement with the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS).
The aim of this agreement is to promote the development of a closer relationship between the two bodies and anticipates mutual recognition of qualifications and future reciprocity of membership.
Also included in the terms of the agreement is a call for the two institutions to arrange a programme of joint meetings to support the continuing professional development activities of both bodies and the regular exchange of literature, technical information and news on their development.
Now both ICES and HKIS can work together in joint initiatives to promote excellence in civil engineering surveying internationally.
The agreement will be reviewed every three years and details of new developments between HKIS and ICES will be reported periodically.
