Jewson wins government business

Jewson has retained a framework contract with OGC Buying Solutions for a further four years.
The contract means Jewson will supply the public sector without the Office of Government Commerce trading arm having to go through the OJEU process. European Union regulations on procurement currently require the process for annual purchases of over £100,000.
Housing association Golden Gates Housing (GGH) signed a deal for an exclusive Jewson store after seeking advice from the OGC.
Jewson will open a new branch in a central location for GGH to service its 9,000 properties.
Jewson also said it has signed a deal to supply housing association the Guinness Trust Group, which owns more than 27,000 homes.
Through a strategic partnership, Jewson said it will provide Guinness with standard products, whole life costing and material compliance.
