Higgins wins £15 housing development contract

Higgins Construction has appointed for the £15m development of 116 mixed-tenure homes being developed in Rotherhithe.

The contract is in partnership with a consortium of two registered social landlords, London & Quadrant Group and the Presentation social investment agency.

The ten blocks designed by PRP Architects will rise to six storeys-high on the Silwood Estate, where five blocks are being demolished now by Falcon for Higgins to begin the 120-week construction programme in April.
