Seven secure Anchor work

Seven firms are to share £200m worth of housing work for the Anchor Trust at various locations throughout England.

The work is made up of two contracts, with ROK and G&J Seddons the only two firms to appear on both lists.
The first £170m programme is for the planned refurbishment of housing, with Apollo, Nomenca and Keepmoat the other winners.

The second £30m scheme involves responsive repair and minor works to housing stock, with Ian Williams and Botes also in on the act.

Work on both programmes is likely to start on site within the next month. The framework deals will last five years.
