Specialist hirer Power4 from fox&cooper has placed an order for £300,000-worth of MV15K super-silent generators with Arc-Gen.

A-Plant has placed orders worth more than £5m for equipment from a range of suppliers including JCB, Compair, Terex and TT-UK. The largest order goes to JCB for excavators and telehandlers, while Terex will supply dumpers and compaction equipment with compressors and generators from Compair.

Toyota is supplying a number of Hilux double-cab pick-ups and Avensis cars for the engineering staff and management at Roger Bullivant. The foundations specialist has a fleet of commercial vehicles and cars totalling around 400.

Kettering-based waste management company Wastecom is putting a new Cat 962G II wheel loader and Cat 315CL excavator to work following a four-year deal with Anglia Crane and Plant Hire.

McPhillips has signed an £80,000 deal with Transcomm UK to fit tracking devices in its 60-strong fleet of trucks, vans and construction plant to help improve productivity and security.
