Bovis Homes gets green light for Stanton Cross

Bovis Homes has received the green light for the 339ha Stanton Cross mixed-use scheme in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The Borough Council of Wellingborough granted outline planning consent last night. The scheme will involve the construction of around 3,100 new homes and 68ha of commercial space, integrated with parkland areas and infrastructure.

Bovis expects to start work on the infrastructure following full planning consent. A start on site for the homes is expected in 2007.
