UCS Plant has taken delivery of half a dozen Volvo excavators, including three 14t units (EC140BLCs), an 18t EC180BLC, an EC240BLC (24t) and a 14t wheeled EW140B machine.

Scania has begun delivery of 33 rigid tippers and tractive units to Brett Aggregates of Faversham in Kent. The order is made up of 29 eight-wheel P380 rigids, three lightweight P420 tractive units and a P310 six wheeler.

CBL has been appointed as a national approved supplier of non-operated plant to Morrison.

Lincolnshire-based Renway Aggregates has purchased a C-12 jaw crusher from Extec. The machine will be used in its recently-purchased 20ha limestone quarry.

Sandhurst Equipment has supplied a fixed-leg grapple to contractor JA Wilson of Earlston for revetment work on the River Tweed following damage caused by flash floods on the Duke of Sutherland’s Mertoun Estate.
