Yorkon develops warranty for modular buildings

Yorkon claimed a construction industry first, when it launched a warranty on its modular buildings.

The company has developed a customer charter to set out a series of performance standards for each building project. Yorkon is claiming a modular industry first as the charter includes a warranty package.

Every building has a 20-year structural warranty and a five-year product warranty.

The company claimed it is confident about the warranty, after it smashed construction industry averages by delivering 96% of projects on time and 94% on budget over five years. Yorkon said this compares to industry averages of 63% of projects running on time and 49% to budget.
