Eight contractors are to share £79m worth of housing upgrade work in west London.
Six of the firms will be working on the London Borough of Hillingdon’s £60m deal to replace kitchens and bathrooms.
The line-up is Beyer Group, Apollo, Yorkshire company MASCO OneStep, Connaught, Kier and Lancashire-based outfit Herbert T Forrest.
The project will initially last for two years but, depending on performance, could be extended to four.
n Notting Hill Housing Trust has lined up Botes and AE Williams to tackle responsive, voids and package repairs to around 14,900 homes.
The deal is worth £19m over five years.
