Major Contractor of the Year Award 2006

This category is for civil engineering and building contractors who achieved a turnover of £250m or more in 2005.

The judges will look for entrants who meet, across their business, targets for time and cost, show a good performance on defects, and improve predictability and value for their clients.

They will expect to see strong team integration, a focus on improving communication and efficiency, and evidence of good, non-adversarial supply chain relationships.

Entries should also give examples of unforeseen problems that have been overcome through skilled management.
