Brian Johns is to step down as chief executive of Partnerships for Health (PfH) after four years in the post.
Citing the achievement of successfully reaching financial close on all 42 LIFT schemes, Johns said he is “immensely proud” of PfH’s achievements and is “confident that the right structure is in place to ensure ongoing operational delivery of these schemes”.
Chair of PfH, David Colin-Thome, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with such a talented and committed chief executive. I would like to thank him for his immense contribution to the success of PfH and LIFT.
“The original role of PfH has been fulfilled. PfH is now entering a new phase in its development as it works with LIFTCos to meet the challenges and opportunities set out in the White Paper.”
In the interim, George Farley, assistant director, will take responsibility for procurement, while Dr Sue O’Connell will be responsible for investment.
