Balfour Beatty secures £160m of international civils contracts

Balfour Beatty has won road and rail contracts worth £160m.

In the US, Balfour Beatty Construction has won the £105m contract with the California Department of Transportation to upgrade Interste Highway I-5 in Orange County.

Meanwhile, in China, Balfour Beatty Rail Power Systems has won a £53m contract to electrify 619km of double track railway between Tianjin and Shenyang in Liaoning Province.
