Just crane crazy!

The following series of pictures appear to show what happened when certain crane operators tried to recover a car that had been driven off a dock into the sea. It seems that as the first crane began to lift the car from the water on to the dock it overbalanced, dropping the car back into the drink and, disasterously, following it into the water itself. A second crane was then brought in which successfully salvaged the car but, to compound the disaster, subsequently toppled over while trying to fish the previous crane out.


"Is this where the car went over, then?"


"Yep, we need to get her fished out"


"Easy..."


"Lookin' good! "


"Oh dear!"


"We'll have to get a bigger crane"


"We'll start with the car first"


"Up she rises!"


"Right, let's get the next one out"


"Oh no!"


"I think we'll just get our coats..."


Don't believe everything you see, folks. There's been a little bit of Photoshop trickery practised here. It looks like the first crane went over all right but take a look at picture six against picture 11...the people in the background are the same and they're standing in exactly the same places.

Still good for a laugh though.
