Jewson launches one-stop shop solution for fitters

A one-stop-shop for shopfitters is being launched by builders' merchant Jewson.

The new service, Jewson OneSource, is aimed at providing a single point of access - via a central phone number - for both the company's 450 products branches and 190 tool hire centres.

"Jewson OneSource has been developed to take the headache out of procurement for our shopfitter customers. By making one call to one number we will deliver everything they need, when they need it," said commercial sector director Andrew Tait.

The new service has received the backing of the National Association of Shopfitters.

"Time is critical to the shopfitter. We work all over the country, often in towns and cities where we do not have a relationship with a local supplier," said director Robert Hudson.
