Terex Pegson has selected Blue Machinery to act as dealer for its range of crushing equipment, in a move that sees the manufacturer align itself with Terex Group stablemate Powerscreen.
Blue Machinery relinquished its dealership status for OM Crushers after it was approached by Terex Pegson with an offer to become its dealer for England and Wales. Blue Machinery area sales manager Aidan McGeary explained: "We weren't going to stick with OM and lose the Powerscreen business."
Marketing manager for Terex Pegson Judi Sault indicated that her company wanted to sell its machines through a dealer network that "we felt had more local coverage." She said: "The move made sense because the machines complement each other."
Blue Machinery Central, Blue Machinery Southern, Blue Machinery London, Alex Moss and Powerscreen Midlands will now sell Terex Pegson machines in England and Wales.
BL Pegson Scotland will continue to act as dealer in Scotland. Powerscreen Ireland will act as dealer for the firm for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
