Four contractors are in the frame for a £13m city council arts project in Nottingham.
Banner, Galliford Try, Kier-owned Marriott and local firm outfit Sol Construction are pricing the Centre for Contemporary Art deal.
As well as an art gallery, the scheme, spanning around 3,000m2, will include a live performance space, bar and restaurant. The plan is for the council to award the contract in October.
Enabling work is already under way, with the main works due to begin in November.
Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008.
