Euro 4 engines for Renault vans

Renault has updated its Trafic and Master vans with new Euro 4 engines, ranging in power from 67kW to 112kW.

The French manufacturer will supply the Trafic with two versions of its new 2.0dCi (M9R) engine, which it developed with Nissan. The two powerplants will develop 67kW and 86kW respectively.

The Trafic range will also offer a 2.5dCi 150 engine with FAP particulate filter, producing 112kW.

The same 2.5dCi 150 engine will replace the 101kW 3.0dCi unit on the Master. The line will also offer mid-range and basic options of the same engine, rated at 89kW and 75kW respectively.

Both ranges will offer an updated six-speed manual gearbox and 'Quickshift 6' robotised transmission.
