Morgan Est wins Yorks water work

Morgan Est has tapped into a £39m sewage upgrade scheme for Yorkshire Water. The scheme involves revamping Esholt's treatment wortks -- the 100-year-old plant serves people in Bradford and parts of north Leeds.

Working with consultant Carl Bro, Morgan Est will be carrying out phase two of the upgrade under a framework deal. The job involves replacing a secondary treatment plant and equipment with a new activated sludge process. When it comes on stream by mid-2009, the plant wil be capable of treating up to 3,241 litres/ per second of sewage.
