The shortlist for the £4bn Stratford City development scheme, which includes the London 2012 Athletes' Village, has been cut to two players: a Bouygues-led consortium with Barratt; and a second consortium comprising Bovis Lend Lease, East Thames Group and First Base.
London & Continental Railways and the Olympic Delivery Authority will make a joint announcement of the winning bidder within the next two months.
A Royal Bank of Scotland consortium including Bellway Homes, Gladedale and Kier, is now out of the running.
