B&K has sealed two warehouse-centred projects worthtotalling £27m. In Leicester, the firm has seen off rivals Amec, Shepherd and Clegg Construction to take an £18m combined warehouse and office scheme. The design - and - build deal, for Office Depot UK, features a 36,000m2 warehouse and 6,000m2 of office space.
Completion is due within 47 weeks. And in Lancashire, B&K has a £9m scheme featuring two warehouses for client Helioslough. The warehouses, totalling aboutaround £31,000m2, will be built at the Revolution site in Chorley. The other firms in the hunt for the project were Sisk and Norwest Holst.
This latest deal brings to 4.6m2 the amount of warehouse space B&K has constructed
in the last five years.
