Kramer adds reach to range

Kramer has announced that it will add a new 9m-reach machine to its range of telehandlers.

The 4009 model will be able to lift payloads of 4t to a height of 9m. The machine, which is larger than Kramer’s existing 6m and 7m-reach models, will have a longer wheelbase but will not require outriggers despite the higher reach capacity.

Kramer said that its new model would have good visibility, thanks to the ability to fully lower the boom into a U-shaped chassis. The manufacturer plans to introduce two additional models, with working heights of 13m and 17m, in early 2007.
