Contract Journal Construction Awards 2006 winners announced

The Kier group of companies scooped an impressive three trophies at last night’s 11^th Contract Journal Construction Awards.

Kier Group Construction Division won Major Contractor of the Year; Kier Building Maintenance took the Diversity Award, and Kier Group collected the Training Award.

Coleman & Company also had a very successful evening, going home with the coveted Silver Helmet Award for Safety, as well as being named Demolition Contractor of the Year.

Awards compere Bill Bailey told guests that this was the best year yet, with a record number of entries. Some 1,000 industry professionals packed the great room of London's Grosvenor House Hotel to celebrate the best of British construction.

Specialist Contractor of the Year - Roy Hankinson Group
