Waterman profit rises to £4.2m

Waterman, the consultancy group, has reported a pre-tax profit of £4.2m (£3.8m). Managing director Bob Campbell said he was “delighted” with the performance.

Latest annual results (12 months to 30 June) show turn-over higher at £83m (£73m).

Campbell said: “We anticipate further organic growth and we continue to evaluate a number of bolt-on acquisitions.”

UK activities were mostly awarded on a multi-discipline basis and included regeneration projects in Leicester, Leeds and Liverpool.
