Plant solutions provider Hydrex has moved into the self-drive market with the acquisition of wheel loader rental firm Gorrel Trading Company.
Gorrel operates mainly Volvo wheel loaders on long-term rental contracts across the UK. It has 150 machines and the deal increases Hydrex’s fleet to 1,300 machines.
Managing director Andrew Simcox said: “We have created a structure that meets our customers’, employees’ and investors’ needs on a national scale.”
