To ease problems getting into and out of SED, the show organisers have dropped the car parking charge and will offer a park-and-fly option, as well as introducing SED FM radio coverage and improved signage.
Exhibition director Mark Bresnahan said the 2007 show will operate a flexible traffic management plan that can be adapted to alleviate hold-ups.
In addition, he is working with the police, local authorities and a traffic management specialist on opening extra entrances to the Rockingham Motor Speedway site.
The new radio SED FM will provide real-time traffic news to help visitors avoid congestion as well as giving information about new product and show features.
For those wanting to miss the queues, SED has announced a joint venture with Sloane Helicopters for a park-and-fly option, which will offer an eight-minute flight to and from the show. For details visit http://www.sed.co.uk/.
