Iveco launches re-engineered Euro 4-compliant Daily range

Iveco is the latest truck and van builder to launch new products in the wake of the Euro 4 emissions regulations. Its latest Daily comes with new 2.3 litre and 3.0 litre engines, a restyled cab and front end, uprated brakes and a revised load box.

Within the restyled cab is a dash-mounted gear lever to ease cross-cab access, more contoured seats and more storage space. Larger ventilated discs with ABS and electronic brake force distribution improve the braking, while options include Active ESP8 (electronic stability, including a Hill Hold function) parking sensors, additional load area lighting and a reversing camera built into the third brake light.

The Daily is available in more than 2,500 configurations, including van, semi-window van, chassis cab, chassis crew cab and an MPV, with gross vehicle weights spanning from 3.2t to 6.5t.

Engine options start with the 72kW to 101kW versions of the 2.3 litre, plus 109kW or 131kW of the 3.0 litre. Both have 25,000 mile service intervals and only vehicles between 3.5t and 5t require exhaust gas recirculation to meet Euro 4.
