Morrison Utility Services has reeled in a trio of new contracts totalling £80m-plus.
The largest contract is worth £50m over 15 years for the design and installation of 40,000 water meters in non-domestic properties for Cork County Council.
A second deal, with United Utilities, is for multi-utility connections and runs for three years with the possibility of a two-year extension and is worth £7m a year. The locations of works are Manchester, north and south Lancashire and the Lake District.
The contractor’s third victory, an 18-month job also for United Utilities, is for electric connections in Manchester, Lancashire and the Lake District. Worth more than £7m, the scheme ranges from industrial work to streetlighting and domestic connections.
