O’Flynn eying Edinburgh job

Irish developer/contractor O’Flynn Construction is planning to build a mixed scheme, with a reported value of £200m, on a central Edinburgh site that has been derelict for the past 40 years.

The firm proposes hotels, shops, offices and leisure facilities on land adjacent to the city’s Haymarket station, which is to be the site of a transport interchange.

Planning consent is already in place for 22,000m2 of development on the 1.6ha site.
