A McAlpine hits jackpot with deals worth £130m


Alfred McAlpine has secured a series of contracts worth more than £130m.

The company has been awarded two new infrastructure services support contracts worth in excess of £50m.

These are an extension of its strategic highways partnership contract with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council for another four years, and another two-year extension to its gas connections contract with Fulcrum Connections.

Alfred McAlpine has also sealed two new facilities management contracts worth a combined total of £65m.

The first is for the Royal Bank of Scotland Group to provide facilities management across the group’s property portfolio. The other contract is for facilities management services at Unilever’s Port Sunlight, Walton-Upon-Thames and Kingston facilities.

Finally, the firm has secured a contract to build a new leisure centre in Stafford and a contract with Derbyshire County Council to build a link road to the north of Ilkeston for the A6096 to Awsworth. The value of these contracts is approximately £15m.
