Contract Journal today launches its Best Places to Work in Construction Awards 2007.

In association with Hays Construction and Construction-Skills, this unique event finds the best employer in the industry by asking employees what they think of their company.

Entry is open to:

  • main contractors (of any size);
  • specialist contractors;
  • housebuilders;
  • products and materials suppliers;
  • plant hire firms and suppliers;
  • specialist suppliers and consultancies;
  • and other professions.

Submitting your entry is free and could not be simpler. So do it today!

How to enter

Just get a board director or senior HR or marketing manager to e-mail contract.journal@rbi.co.uk with the following statement: “I hereby enter [company name] into the Contract Journal Best Places to Work in Construction Awards. By order of [board director or senior HR or marketing manager name].”

Please indicate:

  • Your company’s main type of business.
  • The number of directly employed staff.
  • The name, address, e-mail and phone number(s) of the person who will be our main point of contact.

CJ will then e-mail that person the entry pack, including the employer questionnaire and the employee questionnaire.

The deadline for entry is 1 February 2007. The Awards will take place in London next June.

Whether your firm is shortlisted or not, you will receive a detailed staff satisfaction survey – at no cost. You will also be able to benchmark your performance against the top 10 entries.
