Health and safety is to be a key theme at the Executive Hire Show (Ricoh Arena, Coventry, 31 January to 1 February) with four seminars each day complementing the tools, equipment and small plant on display. The seminars will focus on hand-arm vibration, work at height, training and kerb handling.

Hilti northern sales director Randall Hudspeth said his company is taking an increasing interest in how its tools are used.

Wacker will show a “big breaker with much lower HAV levels,” said managing director Andrew Howells. Husqvarna will assemble 100 tools during the show and will promote its single brand policy as well as launching a new Cut N Break tool concept.

John Berry from Youngmann said its stand will feature new low-level access solutions while The Hire Supply Company will offer six new products ranging from low-energy festoon light to a small trencher.
