Ennstone has bought May Gurney Surfacing, a downstream surfacing contractor based in Norfolk, for £375,000.
Vaughan McLeod, Ennstone’s chairman, said the move continues the group’s push to develop a fully integrated operation throughout England.
Ennstone’s trading statement said that it had made good progress in the first half of the year, despite challenging market conditions, but anticipated that the second half would be “more challenging”.
