Amec bagged deal worth up to £50m

Amec has bagged a deal worth up to £50m to revamp two Marks & Spencer stores in Edinburgh and Liverpool.The Edinburgh scheme entails refurbishing the entire store, together with major structural modifications. Completion is due by the end of 2007. In Liverpool, behind the retained façade of a former hotel, a phased refurbishment programme will create a flagship store in time for the city’s European Capital of Culture celebrations in 2008.
