New standards for reinforced fill

New standards for the construction of reinforced fill have been published by the British Standards Institution as BS EN 14475: 2006.

They cover engineered fill that are reinforced by adding horizontal or sub-horizontal reinforcement between layers of fill during construction on earth retaining structures, slopes and embankments.
