The Olympic Delivery Authority has called on the industry to plug into a mammoth multi-million pound combined energy and utility DBFO contract for the Olympic park site.
The exact value and duration of the contract, which has now been advertised on the OJEU, has not been stated. However, it will be tendered jointly with Stratford City.
There is expected to be a large capital investment programme to provide infrastructure such as biomass boilers at the 500ha site.
Prequals are due to be returned by 11 January, with tenders due in late January. Contract award is September 2007. Switch on at the site is scheduled for 2009.
