Steve Rowsell, the Highways Agency's procurement director and leading light on best practice, is to leave the agency next March to pursue a career outside the public sector. Ginny Clarke, the agency's chief highway engineer, will temporarily take over the role.
Head of PFI Policy at the Treasury, Richard Abadie, is to remain in his post at least until Spring 2007. Abadie, who has been on secondment from PricewaterhouseCoopers for two years, was due to leave this month, but few high quality candidates applied for the job.
