Norwest Holst confirms Stradform acquisition

Norwest Holst has confirmed that it has acquired Cardiff-based contractor Fifehead, the holding company of Stradform, for an undisclosed sum.

The firm, which has offices in Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham and Reading, has an annual turnover of £75m, and undertakes contracts ranging from £3m to £15m.

In a statement, Norwest Holst, which is part of Vinci, said the deal would boost its presence in Wales and the South West, helping it to offer better service to customers in the region.

The news follows speculation before Christmas that the French-owned contractor had run the rule over Stradform with a view to buying it.
