Terex has rebranded its mini/midi excavators and small-wheel loaders. In place of the HR prefix, the excavators will now carry TC (for Terex Crawler excavator) branding, as used on the larger models. For example, the HR1.6 becomes the TC16 and the HR2.0 becomes the TC20.
The rebranded wheeled excavators change from an HML prefix to TW and wheel loaders are denoted TL in place of SKL. The numbers that follow TC and TW prefixes represent the operating weight - the TC48 is 4.8t while the TW110 weighs in at 11t. On wheel loaders, the numbers denote the bucket capacity, so a TL80 has a 0.8m3 bucket.
