Chesterfield-based Wildgoose Construction will build flats and houses in partnership with the Environment Trust and Sheffield City Council, as part of the North of England's first carbon-neutral housing scheme.
The £5.2m Green Homes development in Norfolk Park, Sheffield, will see the homes built to Parker Morris standards. They will be 10% larger than standard homes and will also comply with Lifetime Homes standards.
The 47 homes, designed by Matthew Lloyd Architects, will be built with sustainability in mind.
