Mouchel Parkman’s order book now stands at £1.35bn after scooping a number of contracts, according to the company’s latest trading update. Its bidding pipeline currently stands at £1.2bn.

The firm said that contracts wins include the secured highways commissions in south London for Transport for London, and in Ealing for the London Borough of Ealing.

Mouchel Parkman, in a joint venture with outsourcing specialists HBS, is also preferred bidder for Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council’s strategic partnership contract.

“We continue to make good progress,” said chief executive Richard Cuthbert. “Our continuing success in tendering for and securing new work, our record order book, a strong bidding pipeline and the progress we made in integrating our latest acquisitions all serve to maintain our confidence in the group’s future prospects.”

The firm will announce its interim results for the six months ended 31 January 2007 on 17 April.
