Ennstone acquires Mansfield for £7.1m

Ennstone Johnston, a subsidiary of Ennstone, has acquired Mansfied Asphalt for £7.1m.

Mansfield manufactures and supplies approximately 135,000 tonnes of asphalt a year to the construction industry in the East Midlands.

“The acquisition of Mansfield is another step forward following the development of Cloud Hill Quarry,” said Ennstone chairman Vaughan McLeod. “The addition of the Mansfield plant, just north of Nottingham, now gives us coverage of the whole East Midlands region.”
