Dance fills in while Wrekin finds a chief

Wrekin Construction has appointed John Dance as its interim chief executive while its search for a full-time replacement continues.

John Worthington, who had been brought in as chief executive to sort out the group's earlier financial troubles, left six months ago and Dr Simon Frain, the family-owned group's chairman, has been fulfilling the role prior to Dance's appointment.

Wrekin's construction divisions have been cut from four to two, a consequence of the drop in workload.

The east region is headed by David Stevens while, Tony Honicke is his counterpart in the West.
