Rok buys Yorkshire-based EMB Services

Rok has bought EMB Services, a Yorkshire builder, as a result of EMB having impressed Rok while working as a supplier for it on a Decent Homes project.

EMB provides plumbing, gas fitting, kitchen fitting, plastering and joinery services.

Martin Ardron and Robert Toplis, EMB's directors, will continue to lead the business and all the company's 100 employees are being transferred to Rok, which now has 240 employees in Yorkshire, less than two years after moving into the area.

There are plans to add electrical services to EMB's existing range.
