Hyder acquires RPA

Hyder Consulting (UK) has acquired RPA Quantity Surveyors Limited (RPA) for an initial sum of £2.8m.

RPA offers a range of multi-disciplinary cost and project management services, primarily to the property sector.

The initial deal involves a cash payment of £2.8m. A further cash payment of up to £500,000 is payable over three years, dependent on future business performance.

Latest figures for RPA, for the year to 30 April 2006, show a pre-tax profit of £550.000. The gross assets acquired are approximately £600,000 with net assets of approximately £400,000.
